Vegan Golden Milk Benefits

Turmeric contains curcumin which gives turmeric its yellow color and is loaded with many health benefits. Some of the most common areas are fatigue, joint pain, digestive problems, respiratory problems, and many other things.

Curcumin contains high levels of antioxidants and most research has shown it helps to reduce the risk of diseases and slow the aging process.

One of turmeric’s most studied benefits is its anti-inflammatory properties. Research has shown that turmeric reduces inflammation in the body, which can help reduce the risk of many chronic diseases.

Black pepper contains a compound called piperine, which prevents the liver from metabolizing the curcumin before it can be absorbed into the blood stream. As little as a pinch of black pepper in combination with turmeric can increase the bioavailability by as much as 2,000%.
